Swartz Creek United Methodist Youth

 

Middle School Youth Group

United Methodist Youth Fellowship

Quick Facts:

  • Meets Sundays 5:45 – 7:30 during the school year
  • Middle School Room
  • Grades 6 – 8

Middle School United Methodist Youth Fellowship is a group setting for middle school students to participate in the life of the church through the areas of Mission/Service, Worship, Evangelism, Discussion/Study and Christian Fellowship. Youth will intentionally be placed into activities designed to help them grow in their faith and spirituality while having a fun and enjoyable fellowship with other youth their own age.

Weekly meetings are held on site when outside activities are not scheduled. Youth have the opportunity to participate in activities in the Swartz Creek area, the Flint District of the UMC, and the State of Michigan. It is intended for youth to have a broad range of experiences in order to witness how God works in the lives of people all over the world and so they may be filled by the Holy Spirit in various settings.

  • Fall weekend service project at Baldwin Avenue UMC in Pontiac
  • District and Conference Fall Rallies
  • Sword Drills
  • District U-Night
  • Annual Study focus
  • Lock-Ins

Senior High Youth Group

United Methodist Youth Fellowship

  • Senior High Room
  • Grades 9 – 12

Senior High United Methodist Youth Fellowship is designed to provide a group setting for high school students to participate in the life of the church through the areas of Mission/Service, Worship, Evangelism, Discussion/Study and Christian Fellowship. Youth will intentionally be placed into activities designed to help them grow in their faith and spirituality while having a fun and enjoyable fellowship with other youth their own age.

Youth will have the opportunity to participate in activities in the Swartz Creek area, the Flint District of the UMC, the State of Michigan as well as other states in the US.
