Sunday School Kick-Off

Postedon August - 25 - 2009

sign_from_godGet ready for the start of Sunday school.  Our theme this year is signs from God.  The parking lot will have signs as you come in and so will the building.  One Way…Children Praying…Yield to God etc.

We also will welcome our new Minister of Discipleship person Rachel Doboney.  We will see her throughout the day and then have refreshments after the 11 am service.  Also we will be back in the Family Life Center at 11am. During the Sunday school hour we will have an opportunity to learn about classes for adults, youth and children.  Bring friends and neighbors and lets break last year’s record.  There will be prizes for everyone who brings a friend.

(Want be my friend? My profile)

When I started the process of finding friends and family  I was amazed for I immediately found one of my best friends from high school and one of my best friends from college.  Then it just started rolling, my daughter Beth, nieces, nephews, folks in our congregation said, will you be my friend?   It has been good, apart from the fact that my daughter put some really goofy pictures on of me. Now this is not an advertisement for Facebook, because it can be misused, but we can learn something. Read the rest of this entry »
