Frank Tanana is a former All-Star Major League Baseball Pitcher. Frank, who grew up in the Detroit area attended Detroit Catholic Central High School, Cal State Fullerton and was the first round pick of the California Angels in 1971. During his 20 year career, he also played for the Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, New York Mets, and New York Yankees. Blessed with a 100+ MPH fastball, Frank led the league in Strikeouts in 1975 and was an All-Star for THREE consecutive years! Frank is a Born-Again Christian and donates much of his time to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ at evangelistic speaking events. Both Frank and his wife Cathy serve on the Pro Athletes Outreach Board of Directors, and are involved in “Home Plate” and “Career Impact Ministries”.
